مفوضية اللاجئين: 55 ألف لاجئ سوداني فروا إلى تشاد منذ بداية العام

ذكرت مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين أن أكثر من 55 ألف لاجئ سوداني وصلوا إلى شرق تشاد منذ بداية العام الجاري، وسط تصاعد القتال وتدهور الأوضاع الأمنية في السودان. وأضافت أن أكثر من 400 شخص يوميًا عبروا الحدود خلال الأسبوع الماضي. واقترب عدد اللاجئين الذين وصلوا إلى تشاد منذ اندلاع النزاع في أبريل 2023 من مليون شخص. وحذّرت المفوضية من تفاقم أزمة التمويل، داعية إلى توفير الدعم لهذه الاستجابة البالغة 1,6 مليار دولار.
