أكدت الرئاسة الفلسطينية أن منع الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس والوفد المرافق من الوصول إلى الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة وإلقاء كلمة دولة فلسطين، أثبت فشله من خلال تصدر القضية الفلسطينية كلمات الوفود العربية والدولية، والتأكيد لحق الشعب الفلسطيني في الحرية والاستقلال. وأكد الناطق الرسمي باسم الرئاسة الفلسطينية نبيل أبو ردينة، أن تصويت 152 دولة في الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة برفض القرار الجائر والمطالبة الصريحة بالتراجع عنه، يمثل "صفعة مدوية" لمحاولات تغييب الحق الفلسطيني، واستفتاءً دوليًا يعكس حجم
